Iron Infusions Intake

Iron Infusions

Iron infusions at JPD Wellness are provided using Monoferric® (ferric derisomaltose) and are administered by an experienced clinician with appropriate monitoring for safety and comfort.

Treatment begins with a clinical consultation. During this visit we review symptoms, medical history, and laboratory results. If recent bloodwork is not available, appropriate testing can be ordered to assess iron status and determine whether infusion therapy is appropriate.

Once iron deficiency or iron deficiency anemia is confirmed, an infusion appointment can be scheduled.

Referrals from healthcare providers are also welcome. Primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists may refer patients for consultation and iron infusion therapy. Patients who already have laboratory results or a referral from their provider are encouraged to include this information when contacting the clinic.
